Deactivate SketchUp Pro license

Modified on Wed, 16 Aug, 2023 at 1:49 PM

A classic SketchUp Pro license or a SketchUp Pro Subscription is linked to one person. That person can install the license on up to 2 computers they use, but only one computer can use SketchUp Pro at a time.

Follow these steps to remove a classic SketchUp Pro single-user license from one of your computers:

1. Click on the figure at the top right of the Welcome screen

2. Click on 'Sign out'.

3. A web browser window appears with the text "You're signed out of all things SketchUp" Now one of your two authorizations is available to use on another computer.

NOTE: You can also deactivate your SketchUp Pro subscription if the computer it was on is no longer available. You do this as follows:

Go to your Account Management Portal by logging in to www.sketchup.com.

1. Login

2. Click on 'My Products' for your purchased Subscription License

3. Click on the 'Manage Devices' link

4. Click the 'Deauthorize all' button

All machines you were logged in to are now logged out and you can log in on a new computer.
