Deactivate SketchUp Pro Classic license

Modified on Wed, 13 Nov at 4:20 PM

A Classic SketchUp Pro license or SketchUp Pro Subscription is tied to one person. That person can install the license on up to 2 computers that they use, but only one computer can use SketchUp Pro at a time.

To remove a single-user SketchUp Pro classic license from one of your computers, follow these steps:

1. Click on 'License' in the Welcome screen

2. If necessary, click on the 'Classic' tab.

3. Click the 'Remove License...' button. A confirmation window will appear.

4. Click the 'Remove License' button to confirm that you really want to remove your license.

Now one of your two authorizations is available to use on another computer.

NOTE: You must actually remove your SketchUp Pro license from your computer in order to associate the license with a new machine. If you uninstall SketchUp Pro without removing your license, you will not be able to associate the license with a new machine.

If you need to run SketchUp on more than two computers at a time, you may want to consider purchasing additional single-user licenses or subscriptions.
