Uninstall SU Podium 2.6 RBZ

There are two options to uninstall SU Podium 2.6 RBZ version. Use the Extension Manager to uninstall automatically or uninstall manually.

Use the Extension Manager - ATTENTION only use this way if you installed as RBZ

Do not use this method if you are troubleshooting an installation problem.

• Deactivate the SU Podium license in SketchUp via Extensions > SU Podium v2.6 > License
• Open de SketchUp Extension Manager
• Click on the 'Manage' tab
• Find SU Podium and click 'Uninstall'

This action will remove SU Podium files from (win) C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 20xx\SketchUp\Plugins\ or (mac) ~Library/Application Support/SketchUp 20xx/SketchUp/Plugins. But it will not remove all SU Podium files. In most cases, a new installation will overwrite the files that were not removed.

Uninstall SU Podium V2.6 manually

• For  Windows

• Deactivate the SU Podium license in SketchUp via Extensions > SU Podium v2.6 > License
• Open a windows explorer window.
• Switch to the 'View' tab and check 'Hidden items' so that the AppData folder becomes visible.
• Navigate to the folder shown below:

• Delete all files and folders related to SU Podium V2.6: 

- SU_Podium_V26.rb

- SU_Podium_V26 map

• Empty the trash!
• SU Podium is now uninstalled.

• For Mac

Versions of SU Podium V2.6.043 and newer for Mac are installed in the user directory instead of the global directory. Follow the instructions below to find the files:

• Deactivate the SU Podium license in SketchUp via Extensions > SU Podium v2.6 > License. Then close SketchUp via the menu SketchUp > Quit SketchUp (NOTE when you close a model, you do not close SketchUp! Make sure that SketchUp is really closed!)
• Open Finder.
• In the menu at the top click on "Go" and then hold down the Alt key. A Library folder appears. Click this one.
• Then navigate to the folder shown below:

• Delete all files and folders related to SU Podium V2.6:

- SU_Podium_V26.rb

- SU_Podium_V26 map

• Empty the trash!
• SU Podium is now uninstalled.
