Yes, that is recommended. SU Podium has two activations. If you want to use SU Podium in a newer version of SketchUp, it will cost you an activation. It is therefore recommended to first deactivate SU Podium in an older version of SketchUp. To do this, go to Extensions > SU Podium v2.6 > License in SketchUp and click on 'Deactivate'.
