If you are unable to use SketchUp for the web browser because it gets stuck at the logo, please check the following:
Step 1:
- As a first step, it is important to check if the hard drive has enough space available.
- The minimum requirement is that at least 4 gigabytes of memory are available to run SketchUp for web.
Step 2:
- If the steps above don't help, please check if the logo spins: https://get.webgl.org/
- If the logo doesn't spin, you need to see if you can update WebGL.
Step 3:
- If this doesn't help, please check if you can run it in another browser, such as Firefox, if you are using Chrome or Edge/Safari.
- If this doesn't help, go to Step 4:
Step 4:
- Delete temporary files?
- Windows: Press Win + R, type
%TEMP%
, and press Enter. Look for folders or files related to SketchUp (e.g.,SketchUpTemp
), and delete these files. - Mac: Open Finder, press Cmd + Shift + G. Type
~/Library/Caches
and press Enter. Find the folders or files related to SketchUp and delete these files.
- Windows: Press Win + R, type
See if you can now use SketchUp for the web browser.
