When you log in, the servers are contacted. Sometimes something is wrong that prevents them from giving the correct information about your subscription. Logging out, closing SketchUp (and/or LayOut) and then starting it up again should make the message go away!
Click the person-icon in the welcome screen to sign out:
Check the status of the servers SketchUp uses here to check if there really is an actual problem with the subscription servers: status.sketchup.com
