I recently purchased V-Ray Next Render Node(s). Am I entitled to a free upgrade?

Can I also render in V-Ray Next for 3ds Max with a V-Ray 5 Render Node license?

Yes, that's possible. Version 5 of the Render nodes are also compatible with builds of V-Ray Version Next and V-Ray Version 3. In order to render correctly with, for example, V-Ray Next for 3DS Max, you must have the V-Ray Next Render Nodes installed.

Can I render Nodes with V-Ray Next Render Nodes using V-Ray 5 for 3ds Max?

No that is not possible. You must first upgrade the Render Node to version 5.

Do I get a discount if I purchase more Render Nodes?

Of course. The graduated discount depends on the number of licenses you purchase:

- 5 Licenses: 10% discount

- 10 Licenses: 20% discount

- 20 Licenses: 30% discount

- 50 Licenses: 40% discount

- 100 Licenses: 60% discount

These scales apply to full, rental and upgrade licenses.

I have another dongle. Can I have V-Ray 5 Render Nodes added to this?

No, the dongle system has not been supported by the manufacturer for some time. The most recent versions of V-Ray all work with Online Licensing.
