Yes, that's possible. The idea behind network rendering is that the processing power of multiple machines is combined to speed up rendering. V-Ray then divides the rendering process into small data packets, which are distributed to the various machines via the network. The packets are then converted into pixels and sent back to V-Ray via the network. In V-Ray for Revit, this can be done via the Swarm with which render nodes can be shared.
