How do I activate my Chaos product when I run it for the first time?
You will be presented with a login dialog the first time you run your product on a given device. After you
log in with your Chaos account, you can access all of your licenses. Installing more Chaos products will
not ask you to log in again on the same device.
Do I need to log in again periodically?
No, you only need to log in once per device. Inactive logins are cleaned up only after several months of
inactivity.
Can I log in from multiple devices at the same time? Is there a limit?
Yes, you can log in from many devices simultaneously – there is no limit. Your devices will remain
logged in and you can switch between them at any time. However, you will only be able to use your
Chaos product if you have an available license. One license can be used at one device at a time.
Can I be signed in to multiple Chaos accounts at the same time? How do I
switch accounts?
No, you can only be logged in to a single Chaos account on a device at a time. Your account can
access all of your licenses - named licenses assigned to you and floating licenses provided by your
organization, as well as all of our online tools and services.
You can switch accounts by accessing the Chaos Account window in your product.
Where do I see what licenses are available or in use if I don’t have a license
server?
All information for your licenses and account are available at all times at the My Chaos portal. You can
check what licenses you have, which ones are currently available or in use and where, in the Licensing
section of the portal.
