Failed to Checkout a V-Ray for SketchUp license

If you get this error when you click any of the V-Ray buttons in V-Ray for SketchUp, click YES!


If everything is working correctly, you'll get a page like the one below.

This will normally be the following URL: http://127.0.0.1:30304/

When you log in here, you log in to the Chaos Unified Login service. This service makes sure that all web browsers and Chaos software use the same log in for the Chaos services.


Click the big text "Sign in".




This is the next page. Are you going to use a SketchUp Studio license? Then always use the button Continue with Trimble! On most other cases you will need to use your chaos account to sign in.


Did it all work? The you'll see this:


When you're signed in, you should get this message when you take another look at the Chaos License Server page (http://127.0.0.1:30304/) : "Successful activation

We have successfully activated your license server for [jouw e-mail]. You can now use your license."



NB THIS CAN FAIL SOMETIMES:

Very rarely it happen that you do have a SketchUp Studio license, but the above message does not appear, and your licenses do not show up in the license server. In that case, go to your Account Management Portal and revoke your SketchUp Studio license, wait a few minutes, and reassign it.
