Skimp was designed to import only polygon entities (faces) and their associated materials.
However, in version 2.0 we added the ability to import standalone edges that are not associated with faces when importing SKP files . Skimp is intended as a tool to quickly import high-poly meshes from various file formats into SketchUp. It is not intended to be a full-fledged file format conversion tool. Items such as polylines, layers, cameras, animation properties, and meta-data are not supported for import with Skimp.
