Enscape licenties via Chaos License Server

Modified on Mon, 5 Aug at 4:14 PM

As of Enscape 4.1, Enscape uses the Chaos License Server.

You will now need to sign in instead of using a license key.

End users who encounter a change because of this, will have received an e-mail from Chaos about this change.

If you have only one license, you can sign in during installation, or from the Enscape interface in your host software.

If you are using floating licenses, your IT admin will need to install the new License server  on a central machine in your network. Next thing, you'll need to configure Enscape to connect to that central server. You can set this up by picking "Remote Licensing" during installation, or by using the separate app "Change License Settings ". Your IT admin will need to authorize the License server with the company account that holds the licenses.
