What host software does Enscape for Mac support?
- SketchUp (2022 and 2023)
- Archicad (26 and 27)
- Vectorworks (2023 (Service Pack 6) and 2024)
On macOS, the Enscape plugin will be installed for all of the above listed host applications by default unless otherwise specified by the user during the installation process. This means you do not require a dedicated installer specific to each individual host application, and you can specify which CAD or CADs you want to install Enscape for during the installation procedure.
Which Mac should I buy for Enscape for Mac?
The minimum system requirements for Mac are:
- iMac 21.5” with 3.6 GHz quad-core Intel i3 with AMD Radeon 560 (4GB)
- MacBook Pro 16” (2019) Core i7 with AMD Radeon Pro 5300m (4GB)
- MacBook Air M1 (2020+)
However, for a better user experience, they recommend the following systems:
- MacBook Pro 16” 2.4GHz 8-core Intel Core i9 with AMD Radeon Pro 5600M (8GB)
- iMac Core i7 with Radeon Pro 5700 (8GB)
- iMacPro with Radeon Vega 56 (8GB)
- iMac 24” with M1 processor
- MacBook Pro with M1 Pro or M1 Max processor
- Mac Studio M1 Ultra
Which macOS versions does Enscape for Mac support?

I already have a Windows version of Enscape, do I have to buy a new license?
No, your code also works in the Mac version! Please note that if you switch, you must first collect the code from the Windows machine, or deactivate your license.
Is Enscape for Mac also in Dutch?
Yes, almost all languages are available. Only Japanese will be added later.
Does Enscape for Mac have the same features as Windows?
No, not yet. Some features will be added at a later date:
- Virtual Reality
- Video and standalone export
- Objects such as sound sources
- Custom objects library
Will Enscape for Mac run on an M1 iPad?
No, unfortunately, this is not possible.
Does Enscape for Mac also run in Rhino?
Enscape for Rhino for Mac is expected later this year.
