How do I transfer all my Templates and Scrapbooks to the latest version of LayOut?

Folders

You can set the default location where templates, scrapbooks and pattern fills are saved for each version of Layout in the Preferences window under the topic Folders.

Layout -> Settings -> Folders.

 By default, newly created templates and scrapbooks are saved in the locations listed below. When upgrading to a newer version of SketchUp, you can locate the folder in question and copy its contents to the new folder.

Alternatively, you can create your own folder wherever you like, such as in your Documents folder, and then point LayOut to that folder in the above window.

Templates & Scrapbooks

You can find Templates en Scrapbooks folder by navigating to the following locations.

Windows

LayOut 202x C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 202x\LayOut\

Mac

LayOut 202x ~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp/SketchUp 202x/LayOut/

Please note: On a Mac, you'll need to open the correct library!

1. click on HDD

2. Users, then your own users folder.
