What is Altair Inspire Print3D?
Inspire Print3D enables teams to reduce product development and additive manufacturing costs by reducing material usage, print times and post-processing. It provides a fast and accurate toolset for the design and process simulation of Selective Laser Melting (SLM) parts.
The easy-to-use advanced thermo-mechanical simulation enables designers to develop parts ready for additive manufacturing. By capturing behavior independent of printer type, Inspire Print3D allows designers to evaluate and easily adjust critical process variables. By reducing costly trial and error by simulating part build, cooling, cutting and springback, Inspire Print3D delivers designs with the least support, optimally oriented to the print bed.
Engineers can quickly gain insight into process or design changes that affect production efficiency and then export the geometry of parts and structures to the printer software. Inspire Print3D simplifies the identification and correction of potential deformation, delamination and excessive heating before a part is built.
