If SketchUp Pro is acting unstable or strangely, it is a good idea to check if you have a plugin installed that is causing these problems.
To do this, launch SketchUp Pro with the plugins disabled :
- In SketchUp Pro, open het Ruby Console Venster (Extensions > developer > Ruby Console)
- Type exact in: Sketchup.plugins_disabled = true
- Now close SketchUp Pro and restart it
All non- Trimble plug-ins should now be disabled. Now try to see if you still see the issues. If not, then yes, a plug-in is the problem. To isolate the plug-in that is causing the issue:
- In SketchUp Pro, open het Ruby Console Venster (Extensions > developer > Ruby Console)
- Type exact in: Sketchup.plugins_disabled = false
- Now close SketchUp Pro and restart it
SketchUp Pro should now start with plugins again. Now uninstall the installed plugins one by one and start SketchUp Pro in between. If the problem disappears then you have found the offending plugin.
