What is the difference between Chaos Envision, Chaos V-Ray, Chaos Enscape, Chaos Vantage and Chaos anima ALL?

Chaos Envision is an all-in-one solution for real-time visualization of architectural projects.

We know Chaos V-Ray and Chaos Enscape as solutions that are integrated into various host software packages such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino and VectorWorks. Each host software has its own specific characteristics, which means that Chaos V-Ray and Chaos Enscape are different for each host software.

Chaos Envision works independently and does not have this limitation. This makes it much easier to use and extremely fast.

Chaos V-Ray also uses raytracing, which is very powerful and has many settings, but may be too difficult for some users. Chaos Enscape, on the other hand, is built as a game engine, which makes it very fast - but only as long as the models are well optimized and do not contain too many polygons.

Chaos Envision is the perfect mix: fast regardless of polygon count, beautiful thanks to raytracing, and yet easy to use.

Chaos Envision also includes the realistic looking people of Chaos anima ALL! Chaos anima ALL is also available separately and can be used to create people and crowds in 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Maya and Unreal Engine. To do this, you need to export your scene from your host package, import it into Chaos anima ALL and export it back to your host package. Finally, render it there. Chaos Envision fully integrates with Chaos anima All, eliminating the last two steps and streamlining your process.

Chaos Vantage is somewhere between Chaos V-Ray and Chaos Envision in terms of functionality: it is a standalone application that can render .vrscene (and other) files with a very powerful render engine that can handle huge numbers of polygons. It has some animation capabilities, but nowhere near as many as Chaos Envision. Chaos Vantage is more suitable for Media & Entertainment users.
