Is the software standalone?
No, it works through Plugins or extensions. This means it does not work with Revit light.
You need a separate Undet version for each host software!
With any of the Undet-plugin licenses, you will receive the free standalone program Undet Indexer, which allows you to load your scan data and convert it to an Undet Project.
Which data formats can I import with Undet?
Supported point cloud formats: *.E57, *.RCP/RCS, *.PLY, *.FLS, *.ZFS,*.LAS, *.LAZ, *.PTS, *.PTX, *.DP, *.FPR, *.LSPROJ, *.FWS, *.CL3, *.CLR, *.RSP, ASCII / NEZ (X,Y,Z/i/RGB) and custom ASCII / TXT file format imports.

No, you can buy Undet for a month, a year or three years.
Can I use my Undet for SketchUp license in Revit or AutoCAD?
No, you need Undet for Revit. Or for AutoCAD.
Can I work in Undet on multiple computers at the same time?
No, licenses are machine tied, you can transfer a license from one machine to another or purchase more licenses.
Is a network license available?
No, you need a license for each machine. However, there is a management portal for when you want to transfer licenses. https://activation.undet.com/
Is a trial version available?
Yes, a 5-day trial version is available.
How do I request a trial?
If the new user installs Undet for SketchUp for the first time, they will have 5 days free trial after plugin installation (no registration needed). After the trial ends, they will see the license manager, and will be able to press “get activation” and will be redirected.
How does the license actually work?
To tie a license to a computer, you need two codes, a SITE code and a MID code. These can be found in SketchUp under [menu] Extensions > Undet > About. (In Revit, it's in the Undet tab, then About.) You need this information to tie the license to your system.
How can I manage my scan data?
With the free software UNDET Indexer you can convert the scan data into an UNDET project used with any of the Undet Plugins. The data is indexed three to seven times faster than with Recap, for example.
How big can files be?
Files up to 2 TB have been imported with UNDET, the limiting factor being the RAM memory of the computer.
Is there a Mac version?
No, Mac is not supported, not even if you have Windows via VM software or BootCamp
